I edit my photos to get that look. I don't think it's possible on the A630. I go to Picnik.com and edit them with Crossprocess =]
Canons are awsome cameras I admit that I have a old school film SLR. But Other then that I have always used Olympus's so I dont know much about new Canon lens. But the 410 runs around $600 if you want the 2 lens which is the 14-42mm and the 40-150 mm lens. But you have to think of tax so its $650 but the 510 with the 2 lens is only $100 more. So just do that. Great camera and I highly suggest olympus's to anyone. They are always great plus it has pop up lens and you can use it underwater if you have the housing for it. =) I get that for christmas I think =)
I have a Canon PowerShot A630. My mom has a Canon PowerShot S5 IS which I also use. They are really nice cameras. I've been taking pictures for about 4 years now, but this year I've started to try some harder, more professional stuff. The D60 is some $600 and thats my limit, haha. So if the Olympus is cheaper and easy to use, I'll probably check it out =] Do you use any lenses? I was thinking about getting some, but I don't know what I need.
If your a beginner I say get a Olympus e-410 its a slr of course. But I have been doing photography for 2 years now. I love it. The Olympus is easy to use and understand it has auto focus and like 30 different scene effects to choose from. I spent all my money on it. And I love it to death. Greatest investment I have ever done. What kinda Cannon do you have? Oh and the olympus is great for very very close up shots. And if your willing to spend a couple hundred more I would say get the 510.
I've had it for a little over a year now. I plan on getting a new one, I want a Nikon D60, since I've really been getting into photography. Is your Olympus a nice camera? I've never used one before.
I have the same kinda scene thing for my camera. =) How long have you had your canon?
Thanks so much for the Graphic comments.
I just use the lens that came with my canon, nothing special. And for the fireworks, I have a firework mode on my camera, so I just used that =]
